We are Family.

To wed or not to wed. That is the question. Yep, two of your Oklahoma City Thunder are getting married over the off season. Earl Watson and Nenad Kristic are the lucky men to get a wife. Nenad Kristic and his finance Tonya are getting married in Serbia. After the wedding reception the fun is over. Kristic says he will not take an extravagent honeymoon. The dude might not even have one because of playing for his national team: Serbia. He can not have the wedding in July because of Serbian Orthadox tradition. Kristic says that can be a chance of an early honeymoon. Mr. Watson plans to be in Mexico after his wedding to plan a basketball camp. Oh yeah get ready for the middle of the night wakin', baby barfing, cry all day newcomer of the Sefolosha family. Thabo Sefolosha's wife is pregnet. The magic day June 15th. On behalf of all the blogs on SJS Sports Blog I would personally like to congratulate the new families. Go Thunder!

Russell Westbrook Named To NBA all Rookie Team!

Thursday, Russell Westbrook was names to the NBA All Rookie Team. Westbrook was the 4th overall pick in the NBA Draft. The former UCLA Bruin was the only Thunder to play all 82 games. He was the only rookie to record a triple-double in a win over the Dallas Mavericks. In the game Westbrook scored 17 points had 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 96-87 win. The team consisted of Derrick Rose, O.J. Mayo, Brook Lopez, Micheal Beasley, and Russel Westbrook. I am surprised that Kevin Love or Eric Gorden didn't make it. I think one of them could have gone in Micheal Beasley's spot. All the other players had great seasons. Thank you the Oklahoman for all states. Go Thunder!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A win at the end of a season is what I call a momentum boost in the off season. The Thunder destroyed/routed/manhandled/embarrassed/ the Clippers. Yes, we didn't make the playoffs. Yes, we did beat the Clippers for the last game of the season. Don't tell me the Thunder stink. I know that. So back to the win, Durant scored a game high 26 points and Jeff Green added 19. Russel Westbrook had to highlight reel dunks. You know that what happens when you go to UCLA. The Thunder forced 22 turnovers. Baron Davis went 1 out of 5 in the first half and finished with 8 points. Good win and I can't wait for the draft. Go Thunder.
